ABOUT MUBS
Who We Are
Originally established in 2009 as the ‘Economics, Commerce and Finance Society’
(ECFS) and rebranded in 2017 to ‘Macquarie University Business Society’ (MUBS), we
have a long standing reputation as an integral part of university life for thousands of students at Macquarie University.
The Macquarie University Business Society is the premier society within the Faculty of
Business and Economics at Macquarie University. With connectivity and development at
at the forefront of our organisation, we are committed to improving opportunities for all our members and students within the Faculty.
We believe that all students within the Faculty should be provided with the same
opportunities to grow, learn and succeed. Our annual program design, through both our professional and social events, incorporates these objectives. As such, MUBS members have an unparalleled range of opportunities to actively involve themselves within MUBS events which greatly enhances their university experience and graduate opportunities.
Overall, we are proud to hold a trusted reputation within Macquarie University, corporate
sector and the community, for our ability to transform individual’s employability and provide growth and development opportunities for all students at Macquarie University.
